OUR TEAM
RON KURSTIN
Ron has been in the industrial distribution business for over 45 years. In 1973 he founded Smith Cooper International, an importer and distributor of industrial piping products. Since then, Ron has made several strategic acquisitions to make Smith Cooper International a leader in the industry, with over $150M in annual revenue.
In 2013, Ron sold his stock in Smith Cooper International and now focuses on investing. Ron brings a great deal of experience in all areas of running a business.
ANDREW KURSTIN
Andrew has spent the past 3 years as a strategy and management consultant for Mars & Co., an international strategy consulting firm. At Mars & Co., Andrew advised Fortune 500 & Global Fortune 500 clients on over a dozen engagements, ranging from high level corporate strategy to analytically rigorous business optimization. These engagements spanned across multiple industries (CPG, Packaging, E-Commerce) & geographies (US, Japan, India, Argentina, Brazil).
Prior to this, Andrew worked at Ernst & Young within their Financial Services Division, obtaining his CPA while working with PE, VC, and Hedge Fund clients. Andrew graduated with Honors from the University of California Santa Barbara, obtaining his B.A. in Economics and Accounting.
